After attending honors classes in English in high school and achieving above average ACT scores in both Reading and English, Ashley was able to skip ahead in certain college classes at Delgado in New Orleans while attending for her Creative Writing degree. It was during this time that she managed to intern at Forsaken Press Publishing as Assistant Editor and Social Media Marketer. After her internship was up, she nailed a job at both Bayou Queen Publishing and Creative James Media. Since that time, she has joined Midnight Tide Publishing, Tala Editorial LLC, Silver Shell Publishing, Never & Ever Publishing, and Vibrant Designs LLC. She is now in the process of getting certified to teach English as a second language (ESL). Additionally, she is a proud member of ACES: The Society for Editing.
When she's not up to her nose in editing projects, she's working on her personal writing endeavors, which includes an international bestselling YA fantasy series under her real name and a steamy PNR series under a pen name, where she also delves into dark romance and mythology. As an avid book lover, she's always wanted to work with books, and she's happy to say there's never a day she doesn't get to read.
